We stopped using our access card several months ago because of all of the problems it was causing.  I don't have the time to sit on the phone for hours trying to sort out these problems.   There does seem to be a pattern emerging here though, with this and the faster withdrawals. Its actually making me worried that Paypal may be having financial problems. Have you noticed that there are no comments from Paypal themselves.   I am now making a normal withdrawal daily and leaving £0 in my account no matter how small the amount.   I think that everyone just needs to be very careful.             ... I've been having problems with the faster payment and the normal ones since the beginning of May.   Normal ones were always in the bank within 3 working days, now its 4 or even 5 days, faster withdrawals stay pending in come cases up to 24 hours and the money not being sent until after this time.   So good old Paypal are getting alot of money out of us for a service that is not being given. When asked why, they just give some old answer that they seem to pick out of a hat.   Not looking though ! ... View more

    I have had to use the faster service over the last couple of weeks as my husband was made redundant and we needed to get the money quickly to use for posting. Only once has the money gone in within the specified time, the strange thing is that I am getting two emails on all the delayed withdrawals. Yesterday I withdrew at 12.43 and received the standard withdrawal email and  then same email at 0.57 this morning. The transaction showed as pending until that time. So I guess that the money will not get to me until  tomorrow at the earliest.   The good news is that I have a second interview today for a 9 -5 job so if I get it then I will be so pleased to leave all this behind and get back to having a regular income !     ...
