Password changed yesterday, today another two login security SMS arrived on mobile within 5 minutes quoting different six digit security numbers. Totally mystified, can anyone offer any advise/solution?

Hi, My wife is unable to access her account via the SMS system because she is not receiving the security text when she requests it. The following day the text turns up, then the day after she received another one, then two days after that yet another. (all different digits by the way) We have checked her account and changed her (strong) password as a precaution, hope this stops the recurring sms's but still none received at time of request. Anyone any solution or similar problem?

@kernowlass Hi, Have just refunded £1.98 (in full) via the refund form on the details page of the original receipt and 20p more than I actually received after initial charges was taken out of my account. I note you mentioned that full credit for paypal charges should be given if done correctly yet it did not happen with me. Can this still be correct? (I know 20p is nothing but I would like to know for future transactions) Thanks

Hi Lucy, Tried it twice as you suggested and password not recognised so unable to login with password and code. By the way I am using a 4 digit code if that makes any difference. The app specified 4-6 digits I believe.

I had the same response when trying to log in via my android phone. This is how I think I got mine to work. When I log in via PC I also used the option to sent a pin to my mobile which I then used as additional security to complete the log in process - this I think was what was causing the problemin my case When I removed this security option I was then able to log in using my email address and password via the Paypal app. My problem is that I cannot log in using my phone number and PIN (the PIN has been set up and works on the mobile website) Hope the above is some use

I can log on with my email and normal password using my Android Paypal App and have managed to set up a PIN but cannot log in using phone number and PIN option, which of course is much simpler Somewhat mystified by this as when I use the browser on my mobile to access the mobile site I can log in with just my PIN number. Anyone any ideas?
