Hello,   If I have a button for each painting I wish to sell from my site and someone in America buys a painting and I'm asleep and have 8 hours before I maintain my site abd take the painting down from the gallery...what is to stop someone else seeing the painting and trying to buy it by clicking on the button?   I know that I can tell the button that only 1 of the product exists, and so I am presuming that when someone clicks the button it takes them to a page that  says the item no longer exists.   I just dont like the idea of smoeone clicking on a buy now button for a page to tell them that it no longer exists...Are there any ideas as to what I can do?   Thanks ... Hi there nyvg,    I would firstly suggest that you review the emails that you have received to see if the address you using your full name. If they dont they are not from PayPal. You can forward them on to us at spoof@paypal.com for them to be investigated.    If you are still unsure about your account you can contact us via the contact us link so we can review your account specifically.    I hope this helps Paula  ... I hope someone can help. I lifted limits by sending photo's of Passport and Proof of address. And they were lifted and every thing fine. I have built a website with some checkout buttons, i tested them and had a friend buy something from me and every thing was ok..Today a blogger talked about my site so I was excited and may be my new venture would take off...then i received an email saying my mailguard had quarantined a message...when I had a look it was from service AT paypal...dubious it was spam i opened it and it says i have to do some things to lift limits. the page looks like its paypal and it is asking for name, address and card details...it had th usual navigation bar at the top but it would not let me go anywhere else from that page.   Worried i closed it and went into paypal like usual. It says im verified and unlike before there is no little blue link saying lift limits...however when i click on the little "verified" link it does look a bit different...it says in quite big writting Lift Recieving limits...unlike before there are not the options fro proceeding to lift a limit. Before i downloaded all my ID details.   Does this mean that the email i got was a proper paypal email and i have to fill it in? If it is, then my only worry is it does not ask for bank details but card details, as my paypal is linked to my bank account...any help would be greatly appreciated as I was expecting my first custom today if all went well...   Thankyou ... Hey there,   You don’t need to add a card to receive payments. Once your account is verified you can receive and withdraw payments. However, we may at some stage ask that you add a card as a backup funding source. ... View more

Hello njvg,   I am so glad I was able to help you out in the previous post.   Here is how you can create a button: Log in to your PayPal account, Click “Merchant Services,” select your button type under “Create Buttons,” Complete Step 1 with your button details, Click “Create Button,” and Click “Select Code.”   Copy and paste the HTML button code to your website while logged in as the administrator.   In step one you can click "Add drop-down menu with price/option" - this will allow you to add several options for your buyers to choose from. You can also include a text box. When you create the button in your PayPal account you can look to the right and that is what the button should look like on your website.   I hope this helps.   Misty   ... View more
