I used either a credit card or bank Debit card a few times at a gas station and found that they put a hold on the funds larger than what i used just to assure that the funds would be there when they took it out. Thats if it were a debit card could cause an over draft. Just saying, I stopped doing that. ... View more

Well that can't be true in my case. I paid for a game to be downloaded on Sunday the 9 th of Oct. The game, I didn't get the download. So I went and filed a dispute with paypal for a refund since there was no one to talk to on the game site. It showed the dispute was closed on Tuesday the 11 th and the money was refunded .But a temp hold was placed.The money cleared my bank  on the 11 th but the money is still being held by paypal. The refund from the game site was on the 11 th unless the refund has not cleared their bank as of this many days I can't see what the hold up is.   ... View more

Yes ,That is funny isn't it? Well its been 5 business now since the refund was given, still on hold. Been just about a week all together.Paypal will put the money into my paypal acct and will I have to withdraw it back to my bank or do they do that? My bank is fast cause they are open 7 days a week takes about 3 days to get money back into my bank online. Hope I don't have to dispute any more online transactions takes paypal to long to give the money back! Next time I will juts go directly to the seller and try to get the refund that way possibly quicker! I see on here where 1 person has waited 30 days and still no refund.I can see the paypay went through in my bank and I can see where it was refunded in my paypal acct but says a temporary hold has been placed while they investigate?? I made a debit from my paypal which then debited my bank for a purchse online.I ask for a refund as I never received my item. the online site refunded my money but has been on hold by paypal ever since.IT was debited from my bank on 10/11 I got the refund on 10/11 same day but the refund is still on hold by paypal been 5 days now still on hold.Does it go into my pp acct or back into my bank ? ...
