PayPal seriously needs to understand WHY it has customers in the first place and WHY customers use their services. I would also seriously recommend that the Legal terms be updated to accurately reflect PayPal's actually policies with regards to how they restrict, hold and "limit" customer accounts becasue what PayPals says and what they do are a world apart. Recently I had a customer pay a deposit to my PayPal account, which I have had for over 10 years and it was placed on hold. Ok, so after two weeks of back and forth emails it was removed from the hold and placed in my so called "Available" funds. I say so called because I am not able to actually use the funds for anything, except to transfer to my bank account....which is NOT what I want. What I require the funds in PayPal for are to make online purchases with vendors that utilize PayPal as their payment processor. I am not even able to transfer funds of any amount to my wife's PayPal account....for all intensive purposes my account is still locked. When I attempt to make a transaction I am asked to provide a credit card number to PayPal to comlete the transaction...something I will not, and cannot do as I have closed all my US bank accounts. NOWHERE in PayPal's User Agreement does it state there is such a requirement to use its services. So PayPal, if you are going to lock or as you call it ..."limit" my account and the accounts of tens of thousands of other PayPal customers than you have a responsibility to state it clearly on your PayPal User Agreement. What is the point of having a PayPal account if I am locked from making online purchases using MY MONEY??
