Hi Deathnote11,   The transfer from Paypal to your bank account takes 3-5 banking days.  You could use your Paypal card it normally charges you for cash withdrawals or just use it for gas and groceries til the balance is zero.     ****Kudo's greatly appreciated if you gained anything from my post.  Happy Holidays~!   ... The most effective way to get a seller to respond is dispute the charges with your credit card holder and also go to Resolution center and file Paypal dispute as well.   Your credit card company is the quickest way to get your money back.  Credit card company gives you a provisional credit until they here back from seller.  Seller will have to show proof of delivery.  If he can't he loses and you already have your money back.  If you lose, they will remove the provisional credit.   Don't wait more than 10 days, that is plenty of time for seller to respond and issue refund. Paypal is a third party dispute resolution and can take over 30 days to provide decision.  All the while the time is ticking on your right to dispute directly with credit card holder, number on back of credit card.   **********Kudo's appreciated if you gained anything from my post.... Re: Is there help for buyers here?

Hi there,   The reason is because while it shows they processed the transaction out of your bank account, Paypal has a 3-4 banking day hold.  They claim it is because they don't actually get the money for that time period. It works the same when refunding back to your bank account and if refunding back to your credit card thru Paypal, it will be double that time so 6-8 banking days.    I don't have all the facts regarding your account, so not sure why this is happening now.  I would recommend adding a credit card or your debit credit card as back up funding and when checking out make sure to manually change "Source of funding" to the credit card you want to use.   Normal.......nothing is ever normal on Ebay/Paypal.  Have a great Christmas~!   *********Kudo's are greatly appreciate if you gained anything from my post********************** ... In your Paypal-My Account it has a filter where you can put in the time period.  I put in 2000 an it brought me back to my first purchase 9/2007.  There is also a print button.   You always want to report a seller immediately, don't wait too long.  If you paid with a credit card or debit bank credit card notify them immediately.  They will provide a provisional credit until they can contact seller.  Make sure to give your financial holder all dates, coorespondence, etc to win your dispute.   While you might have up to 45 days with Paypal, that might be too long for your credit card claim.  DON'T  WAIT~! ******Kudo's are greatly appreciated if you gained anything from my post********* ... Re: Can I purchase from ebay with a Zero balance?

by Watchout Contributor in eBay and PayPal (Archive)

Yes, you can make purchases with a zero balance as long as you have update your banking and backup source information.  Currently if you use bank account for your source of funding your item's you purchase using your Paypal account could be delayed due to the fact the transaction is treated as an E-check which can take up to 7 days to clear, the the seller ship's your item.  Best source of funding is alternative credit card.  You are always asked  when you check out of Paypal the source of funding.  I believe it defaults to bank account but you can manually change this to other sources once they have been added to your account profile. I would recommend doing this as soon as possible as it can take 3-4 days or longer to get that information verified.   I too,  just came back from a long vacation from Ebay & Paypal.  I updated my information and then I went down to Walgreen's and bought a Green Dot pre-paid credit card and also a Green Dot Paypal load card.  This way I could use the pre-paid credit card at Amazon as well.  I'm a Prime Amazon member and get free 2 day shipping.  Everything is arriving before Christmas for free.  Including the item's I just purchased tonight.    Remember, as a Ebay Buyer, use credit card as your primary payment source because if you have a problem with the transaction and the seller won't resolve, act immediately and dispute transaction with your credit card holder.  Make sure to provide them factual dates, coorespondence between all parties and your side of the story.  The seller will have to provide his proof of factual information as well.   Your credit card gives you an immediate provisional credit until they have hear and seen all factual information.  Best advice to all consumer's your credit cards protect your more than even your debit credit cards. Make your own Buyer's protection and stop dealing with the run around, get your money back sooner. Happy Holidays!  Amazon rules. ... View more

That's not absolutely  true.  I have a Chase credit card but no longer have a bank account with them.  I normally have no more than $50 at end of pay cycle and that has never affected me in getting verified.   Why won't they verify your Chase bank account?  Why not put the credit card on as back up? Paypal has no way of knowing how much available credit you have so when you ask the question, Which would you prefer?  The answer is always the same, we have policies.  Policies may not always make sense but they are put into place to provide structure for both the company and the consumer.   Good luck with your issue with Ebay/Paypal       ... Sorry about that, sorry I had to respond to the Advisor first.  If it was anyone other than an avisor or one of  the moderator's I really would have just given a unisex answer and not cared about the reply.  Most of them give boiler plate I don't really care to listen answers.   I don't like credit cards either and I deal with financial matters as well as customer service issues daily.  People that like to pay with money order's or cash I usually tell them to go down to Walgreen's or Walmart and get a pre-paid this way they can take care of bill's right away over the phone rather than waiting for the next business day.    Some charge monthly $3-$7 service fee's but at least you can load it  an feel secure making purchases.  Why, because when you use any card that has a visa/mastercard logo they are normally through some financial institute a'nd it allows you  the consumer the right to dispute the transactions.   It's better than the BBB-Better Business Bureau and is quicker than Ebay/Paypal Buyer's Protection.    I use a payday loan location and when I have any amount of my payroll check deposited the load fee's are free or just $2.00.  They even had a Promo that with my first payroll deposit they would deposit $100.00, not bad.   Another benefit of using these types of card is record keeping.  Companies mess up and this way you have itemized transactions to refer back too.   The easiest way for Paypal is to just buy the Load card's only for PayPal.  Instant fund's to your Paypal without getting a pre-paid credit card.  If buying item's from Ebay then I go to grocery store and get no charge Ebay Gift cards saving me the load fee's.   You will do fine.  This information is solid and get's results.  Have a great Christmas~! ... I'm not really sure with Chase Gift Card but I would contact the number on the back of the gift card and ask if they see a pending credit.  Ask them what there policy is on disputing transactions.    Often it takes 7-15 days longer when refunding back to your bank or regular credit card.  That has been my experience.   Stay on top of it and file dispute with credit card holder, # on back of gift card, immediately don't wait.     ***Kudo's are greatly appreciated if you got anything out of this post*************************** ...
