Hi Amlocks,   Thank you for posting and welcome to the Community Forum!   I’m very sorry to hear about the challenges with finding the API credentials.   Please note that you can upgrade your PayPal account to the Business type any time. Once you complete that, please use the tips provided by @petej728 in a post above: Log onto Paypal account. Click on 'Profile' Under 'Account Information' click on 'Request API credentials' Next, I selcted option 1 - Set up PayPal API credentials and permissions This time, I selected option 2 - View API Signature This now showed me my API username, password and signature. If you will continue experiencing challenges, please consider calling PayPal Customer Services by clicking onto Contact us on any PayPal page as they will be able to review your account and assist you.   We also provide support via Social Media (24/7). just as a slight addendum to this, I have seen building society accounts working on someone's PayPal account but only if the details of it are interchangable with bank details. Usually they can only be used for withdrawals.  Rarely would a building society account be able to be confirmed as this involves setting up a Direct Debit, i've very occasionally had people who had their building society account set up in such a way that allowed a direct debit to be submitted to it but this was some agreement between them and their bank.   From what you are describing it would not appear to be possible to confirm your account, there's no option of adding additional reference numbers when the Direct Debit is set up. ...
