OK , so in regard to PayPal Credit Account. Because of the very same problem I am now facing yet again, I was 'behind' with my monthly payments. I set up an arrangement which is now completed and my account is re-instated. However, as happened previously, my Statement for this month shows a minimum payment due of £41 and change, due at the end of October. I have made no purchases to influence this amount, so you would think that payment of that amount by Direct Debit would be the correct thing to do? Well, apparently not!!! - Yesterday, I received a letter from PayPalCredit stating that 'thank you for sticking too, and completing your 'arrangement', there is still an amount of £188 in arrears which you should pay immediately. The whole point of the 3 month plan was to bring my account up to date, they decided on the figures and dates - my account was frozen so no purchases were made, so I am at a loss to know what to pay, £188, £41 or £228. Previously, I paid the amounts required on my Statement but fell into £210 of arrears, hence the 'arrangement' I could not understand this then, and I cannot understand it now!! Has anyone any ideas, the previous arrangement was to clear the arrears, so where has the £188 come from? I have a small balance of under £2000 owing (much lower than my credit limit) so surely this cannot be 3 months additional interest, that would make the monthly interest rate extortionate but should clearly have been at least estimated and added to the 3 monthly figures which would make much more sense, or the minimum payment for this month should have been higher? This should also have been fully explained at the time of the arrangement otherwise there is no benefit for them or me, to make these extra payments. I am beginning to think that paypal either don't know what the other hand is doing, or they are 'hiding' these charges so that we get into default through no fault of our own, only their misleading paperwork, or a combination of all facts together with some (allegedly) bad and possibly illegal practices, in order to extract more and more money for their unsuspecting 'victims'. I cannot get a straight answer from them, just ignore this, no don't pay that pay this, etc. etc. Anyone else had these kind of problems, or is there someone who can explain what is going on?
