I paid for a Wii game through eBay a couple of days ago, yesterday the seller contacted me asking why I hadn't paid. I explained to the seller that my payment was being 'processed through Paypal' and I had no idea why it was happening, i then asked the seller to wait a couple days to see if the payment had gone through. The seller was very understanding and agreed to wait. This morning I checked Paypal to see if it had gone through yet and it hadn't, it actually said my payment hadn't been 'claimed'. I explained the situation to the seller and they announced that they hadn't updated their new email address and I sent the money to their old account. I tried to cancel payment but each time Paypal came up with an 'error'. I've tried signing out and back in to my account- nothing happened. I even restarted my computer- the same error message came up over and over. "Hello community, I'm having problems with my Paypal again.   This time it's refusing to transfer money from my bank account to my Paypal. I had my monthly eBay seller fees to pay on the 3rd of April (I only noticed the problem  yesterday), they wanted £107. I checked my bank account and I had enough to pay it (or so I thought    ) and it's been refusing to transfer the money leaving me with -£107! I clicked the 'resolve negative balance' bit and transferred what I had in my bank account to try to help make it look a bit better and I don't know if it's actually processing or not. I recently nearly reached my account limit and provided the information to remove the limits, I don't know if it's something to do with this but I thought it would help to mention it.. Please help!" I posted this a day or two ago and got no replies so I'm posting again because it's gotten worse. I checked my online bank account and my balance appears the same but I was supposed to receive my benefit money today but Paypal has APPARENTLY taken the money to resolve the negative balance and it isn't showing on Paypal at all!! Also I tried paying for something on eBay and it's trying to charge me over £100 for something I bought under £5, trying to FORCE me to pay the seller fee's that have apparently been taken out of my account so I can't pay for it! Hello, I've posted three other topics, none of which have had a reply yet. I bought three seperate items today, two of which were on eBay and the other was on a clothing site. I logged into PayPal after buying these and I was told I'd been chosen for a random security check which is aparrantly normal. I had to change my password and my memorable information, so I did. I then had to varify my account via phone  by typing in a security number given to me on PayPal to check my phone number was valid. Finally they asked for my email address to send me an email checking I still used that email address. Upon completing these steps I was told my account had been varified and was safe. I clicked "My Account" and found I had three open disputes!! PayPal are doing an inquiry for some reason and my payments are being temporarily held! I checked my emails and the clothing site had sent me a message saying they'd received payment..? I have no idea wether they actually have received payment or PayPal is lying to me. PayPal says it's sent an email address to the sellers and are "Awaiting other party's response" which is ridiculous as the clothing site WILL NOT reply to the email sent by PayPal!! I was also disturbed upon being told by a friend that random security checks are viruses which I hope to God isn't true.. Is it? I changed my password and security questions again after being told. I was told to change my password security questions and to varify my credit card via phone. I did all these and Paypal told me my varification was completed. ...BUT I check my payments sent/received page and see I have 3 disputes?! Aparranlty Paypal are holding my money until the three sellers "Respond". Respond to what?? I don't understand why Paypal's holding my payments at all, I proved my account was real, what am I supposed to do now?? I'm also horrified finding out this may be a virus.
