Green Dot won't work anymore. We have the same problem. I used our savings for one account. Now when I try adding our regular checking account in for the second account, I get a message saying it can't be used for two accounts, which it is not.    I found an article that says you can use Bill Me Later as an account although I haven't tried that yet. I doubt if I can put a link here, but you can search for "a lesser known way to verify your PP account." Article is by Tammy Lee. I've never used BML, put I do know it does a "hard" credit check.    So I guess you can try that. And as I mentioned, savings accounts will work. At least AMEX does. It's totally ridiculous to jump through all these hoops, millions of familes have joint banking accounts. I agree! I've had this complaint for so long. I actually had to open a small savings account years ago (which works for a bank account, btw) just to open a second PP account for my husband. This is ludicrous! A joint account should obviously work for both parties paypal's accounts.    I don't think it's up to PayPal to be concerned about a spouse or partner using the account with the other partner unknowingly for PayPal, especially since it's pretty easy to open a simple joint savings account. Let the states worry about any legal banking issues. Since this idiocy has been going on for many years, I doubt the policy will be changed, but it's so obvious how to get around that it's really a silly rule.   In fact, I really only use one PP account for both eBay buying & selling, so it's REALLY easy to get around. At least you got the email. I've been using PP since it's inception and have never gotten an email like this. Luckily I was able to access the $25 off $100 on buy.com through a deal site, but what do I have to do to get the email promotions??   Good luck with Overstock - hope you can get it to work for you! ... I gave up on PP shipping long ago unless  I have to use other than priority, since the USPS site doesn't have media or first class mail (wonder why - just pondering there).   I just use Click N Ship, postage shows up, but no big deal yet. Easy tick box to not print the second half of the page. You do have to copy & paste the address, but just takes a few seconds. Plus since I get repeat buyers, the address book fills up nicely. Well, just got an email from PP that the promotion is now $10 off $50 - guess they didn't want to post on here for some reason. You have to access the deal from the WorldOfGood.com page, which I knew.   You would think that as its closer to the holidays, the promotion would have gone the opposite way as I'm sure the sellers would have liked the increased business.
