I think the same thing happened to me and a new type of scam may be developing. I sold a set of four DVD's to a buyer, packed them in front of the postmaster, had them weighed(they weighed exactly the same as other identical items sent)and sent them to the buyer. When the buyer received the package she said only half the DVD's arrived. Now it seems to be my word against hers. The DVD's are worth about $500 new - three of the ones I sold had been viewed once and one was still in original shrink wrap. The buyer is saying the shrink wrapped item, worth $100, didn't arrive. I'm wondering if she is going to get her money back, return the three used DVD's and sell the fourth one as new and make a profit? I sold the four DVD's to her for $200. What do you think? How can sellers be protected from this new type of scam?
