I ordered an item online paying via Paypal. Soon after I came across a post on facebook about how this company was scamming people by advertising one thing and then sending a cheap knockoff from China. I contacted one of the people that replied to this post and found out that he did the same thing as I did and said that he will be filing a claim to get his money back. I was upset and wondered how facebook could allow this person to run this scam in their Marketplace and I immediately started my claim with Paypal. After 2 + long months of waiting and going back and forth Paypal for some unknown reason decided in favor of the seller. I could not believe what I was reading. I instantly tried getting info as to why and how they could decide my case for the seller but theres no way for me to do this because paypal says that their decision is final. Shocked I got in touch of the person that filed the same that I did and he said that he was refunded back his money and also reimbursed the shipping fees that he had to pay to shipo the item back. This is what I dont understand!! Why is it that they came up with 2 different conclusions for 2 cases that were identically the same? We both were scammed by the same seller, both paid via Paypal, both were shipped an item that was not the one advertised. The only difference was Paypals decision. There has to be something or some way for me to dispute their decision. Its very clear to me that Paypal is in the wrong here one way or the other. This is America where everybody has the same rights and isnt it illegal to have seperate rules for different people.
