Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because I’m in a difficult situation with my PayPal account and I’m hoping someone here can help me or offer advice. My account was recently disabled, and I have no idea why this happened. I’ve always used PayPal without any issues, so this has come as a huge shock. I’ve tried contacting PayPal support, but I’m still waiting for answers, and I’m really feeling stuck. Here’s what I know so far: I recently received a $100 payment from TEMU for a collaboration video that I made as an influencer. This payment went through with no issues, and I had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. I also received a separate payment of about $50 from selling items on DEPOP, which is a platform where I sell pre-owned clothes. While the TEMU payment cleared without a problem, the $50 from DEPOP was put on hold. Soon after, my entire PayPal account was limited, and now I can't access it at all. I’ve done my best to resolve this by submitting verification documents, including screenshots of the transactions and my ID. I was hoping this would clear up any misunderstandings, but instead, my account was completely disabled. What’s really concerning is that I also have an upcoming return from Adidas of ~$180 that I’m not sure how I’ll be able to process now. On top of that, I’m worried that the $50 balance from DEPOP might be lost or become inaccessible, which is a major issue for me since I rely on PayPal for my transactions. I’ve read through PayPal’s policies and I genuinely don’t believe I’ve violated any rules. I’m just trying to follow the guidelines and keep everything legitimate, but I’m completely lost as to what triggered the disabling of my account. I’ve emailed PayPal multiple times but haven’t received any helpful response yet. Has anyone here gone through something similar? Any advice on what steps I should take next or how to get my account reinstated? I’m really just trying to understand what went wrong and how to fix it. I’m also wondering if there’s anything I can do to recover my funds, especially the $50 that’s currently on hold. I would really appreciate any help or insights you all can offer.
