These are the words from a recent dialog with A "PayPal Assistant." I completely understand the concern here, and we definitely value your association with us. Refusing on delivery will still qualify for a refund. Only when the item is accepted and seller delivered the item as promised, we will not be able to cancel the transaction, because even seller has seller protection similar to the buyer protection we offer. For the cases where you have refused the item at delivery, we can surely help you win the case. My words: You are better off refusing a package and apparently stand a better chance of winning.     ... View more

PayPal has too many players to serve. The vendors are apparently also Customers, so the customers (bill payers) are now competing for a fair resolution with the Vendors who probably bring more revenue to PayPal than a little guy who wants to make a safe purchase.   What the hell is going on with PayPal? You used to be a reliable, safe way to pay for products online. I am now involved in THREE disputes with PayPal as the intermediary for three purchases. Apparently, you are now acting to or serving as the agent to isolate the buyer from the supplier. The last 20 days I have bought (or scammed) 3 products that listed you as a legitimate payment source. Up until now, it has always been a hallmark to assume I was dealing with a reputable supplier. The latest Paddle, also Margin Holdings Limited, and Straight Commerce Inc., the last two sent me extra products or refused to cancel what appeared to be a duplicate order. Early today, I contacted my local post office. I asked them if they could help me resolve the fact that I had to refuse a package that I felt was not something that I had purchased. The postmaster went to the refuse package and tried to determine who the actual vendor was, but he was unable to determine the source of the package OTHER THAN IT WAS a Chinese-based company. HE strongly suggested that I contact the USPI Investigation services; as the local post office sees them as Chinese companies with repeat problems. Your own PayPal Community recognizes MHL and Straight-Commerce as repeat offenders. A Google search of company names turns up ongoing problems like mine (ours), But it appears now that they are CUSTOMERS of PayPal, so how can I (we) expect to get an unbiased judgment in that circumstance? Sadly, At this point, I am a stockholder in PayPal. I seriously do not know where to turn. Apple Pay, Venmo payment method. Or some other credit card unique numbers for individual vendors system. My wife and I have an EXCELLENT credit rating and pay our two credit cards in full each month. And now, the third leg of a reliable/safe way to buy online, PayPal, is failing us (and maybe eventually you). I was just cut off in the middle of trying to explain my situation calmly. In the PayPal Resolution Center when... Without warning 30 plus minutes of trying to pull together actual numbers disappeared in a flash......... now I am back and angry and disappointed that the once reliable service is now a nightmare. I CAN FINISH MY WRITTEN EXPLANATION WITHOUT BEING CUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING, SO I AM SENDING THIS NOW INCOMPLETE AND INACCURATE INFO JUST SO I CAN COMPLETE MY STATEMENT. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH PAYPAL HAS BECOME. Not a single person can help resolve problems. I have literally spent this entire day trying to figure out what is happening. Absolutely!! I have learned my lesson: online purchases will now be limited to Amazon. Reliable, faster, and returns are painless. I have accepted the fact that online buying IS going to be our main source for products not accessible during events like.... COVID started that trend in this household, and ONE experience with the Margin Holdings Limited companies out there firmed that decision. The real loser in this experience, in my mind, is PayPal. The records show that PayPal has had past experience with Margin Holdings Limited. I'm disappointed they didn't warn OR when I complained they didn't immediately support one of their own customers. Sadly, I am a stockholder in PayPal. But likely not for long. Additionally, PayPal should see that online purchasing has fathered a lot of new ways to buy online safely. Other PayPal-type businesses include ApplePay, Venmo, and credit cards with single vendor card numbers. This has been a nightmarish experience, starting with my mistake of selecting a vendor and then PayPal's making it an extended battle. It's not a huge money loss, but it has caused me to review who I can trust.  Stock price performance is, in this case, not a determining factor. And finally, the biggest SOB in this whole venture is our government's failure to start overseeing things that the individual cannot control. ONLY the government has the power to intervene . What is the latest status regarding this company, Margin Holdings Limited? I think (know) that I am one of the newest victims of their scams.   My transaction started on May 29, 2024, and continues. PayPal denied my first complaint, PP-R-RZW-528595236. I will contact my credit card company later today to warn them of the scam.   At this point, there are two separate transactions. One in the amount of $24.99 and the Second $59.50 With the prior complaint to this community, why haven't they taken care of this once and for all?   I own PayPal stock, and I will address this with the shareholder's community ...
