Thank you for your reply. Yes, I should have been aware but I read the reviews on Facebook, bought the item then it was only once I received the order confirmation email, that I realised it was unreliable. I did email them immediately but conveniently, they had just marked it dispatched before they could cancel the order. My gripe is that they pretended to be a UK company. Lesson learnt.

I bought from a company on Facebook. Error 1!! The link from the Facebook page sent me to a company website where the company name is followed by 'UK'. Nothing on their Facebook or company website indicated that they were anything but British. It was only after I paid and got a confirmation email, that I felt something wasn't right! The email address was weird. Did a google search and found Trust Pilot reviews saying that the goods come from China! Had I known this, I would not have ordered them! I opened up a dispute on PayPal but picked the wrong reason. They answered and closed it. I them spoke to 2 advisors who have listed it under 'Not as described: I received an item or service that was different or not as described. It's been closed again but this is not what I am disputing. I clearly said to the advisors why I was disputing it. As they have closed the case, I can't reopen it under a valid reason. I am disputing that the company have led me (and others) to believe that we are buying goods from a UK company based in the UK who send out the goods from within the UK. The Facebook reviews are glowing but we all know that they can be faked. Trust pilot reviews are awful. I had linked to those in my case. What options am I left with? £29.99. To return to China would cost me over £12.
