Hello, I have an item in my Ebay cart, and I would like to pay using PayPal. When I click on the checkout with PayPal button, I'm prompted to log in to PayPal. Once logged in, I receive an error message: So, I get stuck on a loop. I do see that there are pre-authorization charges on my card, which are refunded fine. I received a call from PayPal support, but they could not help because the system is blocking the transaction for 'security reasons.' Shouldn't I be getting an email or other notification prompting me to allow the payment? I've tried the mobile app, and used different browsers, too. Cleared cookies and cache. Nothing seems to help. Does anyone know what I should do? The seller is patient with me, but now I will look like a jerk, as he has been waiting for a couple of days now. I don't want to cancel the order. I'm using a China UnionPay card (which is not supported by Ebay). That's the only payment method I have. No other card. I can't link my bank account with PayPal as that's not available in my country.
