Hi Bindu,   Thank you for your prompt response and the valuable information you provided. I appreciate your efforts in guiding me through the available options.   However, despite reaching out to PayPal support through various channels including from verified twitter to @AskPayPal, I haven't been successful in obtaining the necessary assistance. I've diligently provided all the required details and information, but unfortunately, the responses have ceased.   To give you a brief overview, my account was permanently limited on August 04, 2023, after receiving payments through an invoice and other transactions labeled as goods and services on July 29, 2023. It has been 145 days since the funds were received, and there are only 35-41 days left in the 180-day holding period.   While I understand the standard holding period and respect the PayPal terms and policy, the urgency for these funds is crucial for running campaigns and ads for my business. Considering the absence of any chargebacks, disputes, or unusual activity throughout my PayPal usage, I seek a more expedited resolution.   I am exploring any available legal options to expedite the process, given the time-sensitive nature of my business needs but I'm concerned about the time and cost involved where I've a months+ left to finish the limitation period of 180 days. As a moderator, do you have access to PayPal customer support or the appeal department? Thank you for providing valuable insights into common reasons for account limitations. I acknowledge your points, and I understand the potential concerns related to my transactions. Regarding the specific transactions mentioned, the buyer has actively engaged with PayPal, confirming and authorizing those transactions. It's been over 140 days without any chargebacks or issues. Even there has been no history of fraudulent, Chargeback, Unusual, Dispute activity since I started using PayPal in October 2021.   I've reached out to @AskPayPal on Twitter, but they've reiterated the standard 180-day hold policy without providing a review. In light of the circumstances and the critical need for funds in my business operations, I'm wondering if filing a complaint with BBB (Better Business Bureau) could be a potential avenue for assistance.   Your guidance is highly appreciated, and I'm open to any suggestions on how to proceed in this situation. Hello @getcaroline,    Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear a limitation has been placed on your account. I can certainly understand how concerning that must be. PayPal may place a limitation on an account when they need to verify activity or collect information necessary to keep your account open. Steps to resolve a limitation can normally be found in your Resolution Center. If you have questions on providing the information requested in the Resolution Center, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support teams for assistance.   However, if there are no steps listed there, or you've been advised your account has been permanently limited, it's normally due to some kind of violation of our User Agreement. When that limitation is placed, an email is sent detailing any reasons or information available.
