Hi Bindu,   Thank you for your prompt response and the valuable information you provided. I appreciate your efforts in guiding me through the available options.   However, despite reaching out to PayPal support through various channels including from verified twitter to @AskPayPal, I haven't been successful in obtaining the necessary assistance. I've diligently provided all the required details and information, but unfortunately, the responses have ceased.   To give you a brief overview, my account was permanently limited on August 04, 2023, after receiving payments through an invoice and other transactions labeled as goods and services on July 29, 2023. It has been 145 days since the funds were received, and there are only 35-41 days left in the 180-day holding period.   While I understand the standard holding period and respect the PayPal terms and policy, the urgency for these funds is crucial for running campaigns and ads for my business. Considering the absence of any chargebacks, disputes, or unusual activity throughout my PayPal usage, I seek a more expedited resolution.   I am exploring any available legal options to expedite the process, given the time-sensitive nature of my business needs but I'm concerned about the time and cost involved where I've a months+ left to finish the limitation period of 180 days. As a moderator, do you have access to PayPal customer support or the appeal department? Hello PayPal Community,   I hope this message finds you well. I've encountered a prolonged issue with my personal PayPal account, where funds have been on hold for 136 days, with 44 days still left for the 180-day period. I've been a diligent PayPal user since 2021 without a single dispute, chargeback, or any unusual activity.   After experiencing a concerning incident where PayPal notified me of permanently limiting my account on August 4, 2023, citing a potential risk associated with it, I took preventive action. On August 7, 2023, I incorporated my business as an LLC to safeguard against such experiences in the future.   I've attempted multiple times to undergo an additional review, as I believe it's a misunderstanding by PayPal's automated system. The payments received were authorized by clients through PayPal invoices, with calls made to PayPal for confirmation.   As I urgently need these funds for business campaigns and expenses, I'm reaching out to inquire if there are any legal avenues or suggestions from those who've faced similar situations. Thank you for providing valuable insights into common reasons for account limitations. I acknowledge your points, and I understand the potential concerns related to my transactions. Regarding the specific transactions mentioned, the buyer has actively engaged with PayPal, confirming and authorizing those transactions. It's been over 140 days without any chargebacks or issues. Even there has been no history of fraudulent, Chargeback, Unusual, Dispute activity since I started using PayPal in October 2021.   I've reached out to @AskPayPal on Twitter, but they've reiterated the standard 180-day hold policy without providing a review. Hello PayPal Community, I'm reaching out in urgent need of assistance regarding a persistent issue with my Personal PayPal account. The account has been subjected to permanent limitations, resulting in the withholding of funds for 180 days. Key Points: No Chargebacks or Fraudulent Activity: Despite 125 days passing, there has not been a single chargeback, and my PayPal account has maintained a clean record since I started using it in October 2021 without any kind of chargeback, Disputes or fraudulent activity. Previous Conversations with PayPal Support: I've engaged with PayPal support and highlighted the legitimacy of my transactions. There were no issues reported by my clients, and PayPal acknowledged the absence of fraudulent activities or chargebacks. Financial Crisis: I am currently facing a financial crisis, and the release of these funds is crucial for both personal and business obligations. Hello esteemed PayPal Community members,   I'm reaching out with the hope of gleaning insights into an unexpected situation that I recently encountered with my PayPal account, which I've cherished and maintained in good standing since 2021 without having any reports or dispute or any kind of unusual activity. This limitation has severely impacted both my business operations and personal financial stability.   Here’s a snapshot of my predicament:   Nature of Transactions: A long-standing client, with whom I've enjoyed years of professional trust, engaged my online services. Upon completing the job, the client made a prompt payment. Being a virtual service, there was no need for shipping or tracking.   Assisting My Client: This client, due to some payment constraints, transferred funds to my PayPal account for me to relay payments to his other service providers. Wanting to aid and considering our history, I preemptively covered these payments from my personal reserves, expecting to access the client's transfers after the customary hold period.   Unforeseen Limitation: My account underwent an unforeseen limitation shortly after these transactions without asking me for further documentations or asking and relevant information's. My proactive client consulted PayPal Support, which affirmed everything was in order on his end and indicated that I should seek a more in-depth review but i was unable to reach out relevant department to get an additional in-depth review.   Key Context: The transactions that led to this unfortunate action were completely legitimate and were carried out in the course of my business, which is duly registered in Wyoming and holds a legitimate Employer Identification Number. Furthermore, my established reputation as a verified service provider on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork underscores the authenticity and integrity of my operations. While I deeply respect PayPal's commitment to ensuring a secure environment for all its users, this limitation has indeed placed a strain on my endeavors.   My Plea to This Community: Have any members faced a similar predicament? How best can I approach the PayPal Appeals Department, especially when desiring to submit a comprehensive written justification accompanied by relevant documentation?
