Hello, So, like many of you, I have been on the receiving end of a scammer and my case got denied. I went to the PP website to appeal but, of course, there is no "appeal button" next to the scammer's transaction and I did follow all the instructions. Here is the short version of my story. I ordered two items, only received one and filed a claim which was denied because, wait for it, the scammer provided tracking information! That's right! Now, if you want to scam people, just provide tracking information and you're good to go! Is this what PP is now? If PP can't provide protection to the buyers, what use is there for PP? I can just use my credit card right? Oh, and also, the PP fees... so I pay them for nothing? I have provided all the evidence I could, including an email conversation with the scammer where he clearly states that he will send the missing item, and of course doesn't, and still, not enough to defeat the "mighty" power of the tracking number! I have included a screenshot of feedbacks left on their business and many people had an issue similar. So, I got scammed for $20... what will it be next time? A $100 and PP will not be here to offer buyers protection! Is PP really that desperate? Chris
