I bought something online and used my bank account instead of my card, so it took a few days to clear, by which time an unexpected bill had come out so the transaction failed. This resulted in a negative balance. On payday I went to buy something and I was told I needed to top up at the same time with my card - which I did. I have looked at my bank balance and on the same day, PayPal have charged my card for the original transaction too - but nothing has appeared in my PayPal balance? I obviously can't afford to pay for it twice. Does anyone know when it will clear into my balance? This has been a few days now. Will it happen automatically or do I need to contact PayPal?
