I bought a trading card off eBay initially. The seller sent me a message telling me that he didn't want to wait for the money to be released. We starting talking about the transaction being coordinated on PayPal, but I said only with goods and services. I typically don't operate this way, which is why when the person sent out the package, they sent it to my old address I had on file at PayPal. When it got to my old place, it apparently was sent immediately back into the postage system and returned to New Jersey per the tracking I am providing below. Why I am so confused and annoyed beyond reason is why PayPal chose to ignore the blatantly OBVIOUS tracking information showing that the item either went back to the seller or is in New Jersey where it originated. They sided with the seller and it makes 0 sense. They are going to keep the hundreds of dollars & resell a card? Paypal provides no clarity into why that was decided and even if they did, there would be 0 reason to it. THE QUESTION: What do you do when PayPal closes a case incorrectly and completely mishandles it AND you have literal proof of it? The tracking number: Please view below where the actual EVIDENCE is. How PAYPAL can side with a seller that didn't deliver my item even if I had the wrong address? Its being returned to them. This is counter to their policy which I also took the liberty to add below the pictures of the tracking. You closed this case without even looking at the tracking information it would seem PAYPAL.
