Thank you. It’s PayPal credit transaction and one where you pay after 4months. I could pay with my credit card and seek their help? It just feels very very unfair. @kernowlass  ... View more

Hi @kernowlass I pay most of my expenses through Paypal, so have atleast 5-6 big transactions each month. The disputes were for when items were not delivered, and it was investigated found to be correct, the courier had lost them. Three including the one i am discussing now with Sephora. I have been advised i can only appeal twice. which i have done. And created a formal complaint but havent heard back yet. Should i chargeback with my bank? ... View more

PayPal declined an appeal due to 'too many dispute...

I placed an online order with Sephora UK for £850, but it arrived damaged after being left in the building for several days. This is the second time this has happened in three years. Sephora refused to take responsibility and directed me to resolve the issue through PayPal. I opened a dispute, and PayPal instructed me to file a police report and return the order to Sephora for a full refund. I returned the package via UPS with signature confirmation to a warehouse in an industrial estate. The tracking showed it was delivered, and PayPal initially ruled in my favor but allowed Sephora 10 days to appeal. Sephora denied receiving the package, pointing out that the proof of delivery listed the industrial estate's name rather than their warehouse. This led to a UPS investigation. Despite the investigation confirming delivery with GPS data and identifying the person who signed for it as an employee of the warehouse, PayPal denied my appeal. I provided updated proof of delivery with the correct postcode and appealed again, but PayPal rejected it, citing "documents presented" without clear explanation. I called PayPal and was told an escalation was created, but after five days, nothing happened. Yesterday, I received a message that my case was denied because I’ve had too many disputes, even though I've only had three this year, all of which were legitimate and resolved in my favor. This feels incredibly unfair and unreasonable. I’m not sure why I was asked to go through this process if PayPal had already decided against me. Any advice on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated. ... View more

Dispute process is confusing and dragged for weeks

Have an ongoing dispute where the order arrived terribly damaged with missing and wrong items. The order was for beauty products. It was very difficult to check each product as the parcel was leaking with dark liquids. I was asked to file a police complaint, which I did. I was then asked to return to seller, which I did, including getting a signature. Despite this, I keep getting a process update from PayPal? So the seller denied receipt of the return, but the tracking shows it was delivered. Spoke to a customer services ex and they stated that the dispute is in my favour but they’ve given the seller 10 days to appeal? But I don’t see this information on my headboard? All I see is it’s under review and they’ve asked me to share the shipping details again. This is so strange, why is the seller given 10 days to appeal when they’ve denied a legitimate delivery of returns? And why is PayPal not taking into account that the order was messed up to begin with and that the seller can claim anything?? Has this happened to anyone else? It doesn’t feel right! ... View more
