It is now 14 days since I received the wrong product "not as described etc" so far I have had no response from the seller via PayPal, however they have tried to negotiate a partial refund via email outside of PayPal and requested that I cancel my PayPal case, saying that they are unable to provide a refund with the PayPay case still open with the reason given "PayPal have withheld payment". I have escalated my case with PayPal as I believe the seller Buy-Tech is responsible for trying to mislead me and take money for a product that I did not order (essentially Buy-Tech shipped a completely different, lower cost, inferior product). What I have discovered since is that the seller Buy-Tech has a number of reviews (trust pilot, DE review etc) where the same issue arises of where they are attempting to take money for items that are were not ordered (essentially they ship an inferio lower cost product versus the one that you order from their website). Given that this is looking like a common occurence I can not understand why PayPal continues to provide their payment service for this seller, to some extent PayPal is provide validiy for this seller and they various scams, what I wouldlike to see is PayPal removing the ability for Buy-tech to use their services and prevent further harm.
