I accidentally sent £57 to an unmade PayPal account twice as I misspelt the name and instantly refunded both transactions. It is showing up on my PayPal account as refunded both times. I have then paid the correct account however on my bank statement the money has been withdrawn twice. Does anyone know why this is? Does PayPal have to take the money out to validate the full refund? I tried opening a dispute but it was cleared.
