I received an email from PayPal around 2 weeks ago stating the above, that my account would be permanently closed. This is extremely confusing and I assume a mistake made by a computer algorithm. PayPal accounts for about 40% of our online sales, so this is a major issue for us. We are a company that sells children's clothing and toys online and have been trading for several months. We are a registered company in the UK and are VAT registered. We have no issues with any of our other payment processors and have had no cases opened against us on PayPal. I have spoken to PayPal on the phone, emailed, messaged and have so far not managed to get anywhere at all. Not even a reason for why the account has been closed in the first place! Is there anyone that can help get our account reinstated?
