How long can they hold my money? I sold my watch over a month ago and the money, £2.250, was immediately put into my account. Great feedback received. They are not allowing me to transfer the money to my bank account as they are deferring to some EU diktat that states that sums over 2000 Euros must be held back in a bid to stop money laundering until suitable evidence of the ID of the payee/owner is presented. Other smaller items have been sold and added to the £2250, I cannot withdraw these other amounts of monies either. I have held my PayPal account for decades and have moved far greater sums around than this amount. They are now asking for a current piece of photo ID of either a valid Passport or a Driving Licence. I have neither. I don't drive now and I have no intention of travelling abroad. I opened my account with these self same items when they were valid and have not extended either. I have nigh on 395 positive feedbacks and can say that all the sales or stuff I've bought was by PayPal. Are PayPal taking the **bleep** for not being used by EBay from the end of May, or are they simply holding onto my money to use it as if it were theirs? Thank you
