I agree with the OP. Yes there may be 350 million people who are happy but Pay Pal do not react when there is a blatantly obvious scam. WHY! are they protecting the scammers. If you get sent a small packet of fishing hooks when you have ordered a coffee machine what is there left to debate or look into. In the end I had to contact the fraud department of my credit card company. One phone call money refunded. I would advise all reading this to sack Pay Pal and simply pay on their credit card , immediate protection. ... View more

My resolution date keeps being pushed further forward. I am completely frustrated with Pay Pal. My Barclaycard was my link to PayPal. I tried a different method of reimbursement. I phoned Barclaycard Fraud department, told them the story. They could see the transaction and immediately put the money back into my account. One phone call no fuss or **bleep** about like PayPal I bet you can't guess which method of payment I will be using in the future for my online transactions. ... View more

I have had the same issue. To me it is obvious that I have been subject to a scam. When you buy a coffee machine that cost $77 USD but get sent a small pack of fishing hooks. A blind man can see it is a scam. I cannot understand why the date of resolution keeps getting pushed further into the future. Shame on you PayPal . You obviously don't care about your customer base. I won't be using this method of payment in the future.  I also cannot understand why pay pal are protecting these scammers. I originally put the email of the place I attempted to buy from but the community would not allow me to submit my post with it in. I was only trying to protect the innocent.       ... View more

Why does Pay Pal keep dithering ?

As the title. The estimated resolution date keeps getting put forward, why? It is blatantly obvious if someone orders a coffee machine and pays almost $80 USD but gets sent a small pack of fishing hooks that it is a scam. How could anyone at Pay Pal think that fishing hooks would cost this much? This Chinese seller is obviously a scammer and should be banned or worse. I am losing complete faith in Pay Pal. I thought that it was safe to use this method of payment. I think in future I will just use my bank card. ... View more

Thanks for the advice. Because I have received a package totally different from what I ordered I tried to contact the seller by email. There was a bounce back from the post master but all in Chinese. I copied and posted this into a translator app and it basically said that the mail box was full. I consequently have no way of contacting the seller. I have put this into the hands of Paypal including a jpeg image of what I received. I await with interest if Paypal have any way of contacting the seller and resolving this issue. ... View more

I purchased a Tassimo coffee machine from a seller in China. It was a good deal but not significantly cheaper than other sellers. I paid £57:00 pounds or $73 USD. I have been able to track the package through CNEXPS website which states that the package was posted through my letter box on 6th Jan at 10:21.by Hermes. The package that was delivered was in fact a small bag containing a few fishing hooks. So was this a picking error from the factory line? A free gift!!!!!! or have I been scammed? There is no way a coffee machine could be posted through a letter box. Also no way a few fishing hooks could ever cost £57 Regards ... View more
