How does Pay Pal justify charging over 2% of the sales value of an item when I struggle to get 2% interest on my money over 12 months in a bank. Can you sell on ebay and avoid Pay Pal ? as I sold some jewellery that fetched less than the scrap price I could obtain by scrapping them, got charged over £100 by ebay then another £29.50 by Pay Pal. What made matters worse Pay Pal withheld my money for security nonsense even though the buyer received the goods the two days after it was paid, with no complaints or problems. Calling Pay Pal by phone I felt honoured that a human answered my call but I was on this call for an hour and twenty minutes trying to find out what happened to my money. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AND EFFORT.
