Ok, so I've had my PayPal account for 5 years and maybe used it only a couple times a year up until October/November 2020 where I started selling some items . It wasn't very many but I believe the spike in sales, which I normally didn't have, is triggered the system to temporarily limit my account until I provided what pp wanted. Which is no problem, I sent PayPal everything they needed from me to verify myself and my sales, my account was then restored. I have heard that people who have been limited temporarily in the past who then restore their account have attempted to withdraw their balance and be limited again.. is this true? I would really hope not. I understand the frustration of not being able to access your money, especially during a pandemic. Due to paypals security system triggering a temp. Limit when your account you've had since 2015 is limited because you made a a few sales.. So basically I have $800 in my PayPal balance in which I have made from sales, I have not had a sale since mid December. I need the majority my money in my balance to pay my rent, but I don't want to attempt to withdraw $700 and have the system trigger a security thing and limit me again. Has this happened to you after you have restored your account after providing everything paypal asked for? I am only wondering because I have heard it has happened to people before. Am I going to have to take the money out in increments over the course of a week? I've even heard people being limited for a second time after withdrawing a few hundred dollars one day, and then withdrawing a few hundred dollars another day, and then get limited...which is absolutely rediculous. I have proved who I am, I have proved my sales and had the limitation lifted why can't I withdraw MY funds without being under a microscope? It's bad enough that an "instant transfer" which costs a fee, isn't instant at all and takes 12 hours or sometimes even longer. Sorry for my frustration, I just want to know if this has happened to anyone who has been limited, provided documentation and proof to get restored and then get limited again when withdrawing their funds. Or if theres a way for me to not be limited just for withdrawing my own balance...to pay bills...during a pandemic.
