Hi, I have been facing this issue for about a month now on eBay.com where I am not being given the option by PayPal to pay using my card currency conversion rate. When I go to Checkout on eBay.com and proceed for payment with PayPal, after logging in through the pop-up window and then, clicking the "Exchange rate: 1 INR = 0.XXX USD", another pop-up window which asks for selecting "Convert by PayPal (to INR) or Convert with Card Issuing Bank (goes in USD or seller's currency)" is opening and closing by itself immediately and not letting me choose anything and then, after closing, it shows an error in red on eBay Checkout page on top of payment options- "This payment method isn't available to use on your entire order. Please pay for each item separately" even when I have only one item in the cart for payment. After this, the PayPal option greys out. Notably, if I do not click on "Exchange rate: 1 INR = 0.XXX USD" and place the order by letting PayPal convert the currency automatically, the transaction succeeds immediately but I am charged the exorbitantly high conversion fee of PayPal which I do not want to convert with as my card offers 2% currency conversion rate. I have never faced this issue before and was regularly transacting on eBay till February this year. Till then, the pop-up window for choosing conversion with PayPal or with Card issuing Bank was staying and letting me choose card issuing bank as my option without problems. I have tried different browsers, different internet connections, different devices but the result is same. I have even tried de-linking and then, re-linking my PayPal account with eBay but nothing changed. My eBay and PayPal account are in good standing. I complained to the bank but it says that it's a PayPal/eBay issue. I tried contacting PayPal Customer Care on phone but they have completely shut down their Call Center in India and are not taking calls "due to Covid-19" and the same thing with their web messages. I am continuously losing money due to this. I am having thoughts that this is perhaps deliberately being done by PayPal to earn high conversion fees. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
