Long story short - bought goods for £400, they were not as described. Received an email from paypal to return the goods at my own cost. Spent another £100 to return them from the UK to India. For over a week the goods have been held in customs because the seller is not responding, the courier needs them to provide their customer documents (KYC). PayPal have disconnected their phone lines and responds to messages every 2 days simply stating that I have an open case. I am close to tears because if this gets sent back to me I will wind up with junk that cost me £400 + import tax + £100 for retuning and by the sounds of it a fee from a courier to return it. Where is the PayPal protection? Where? Been phoning the courier company, providing them with numerous documents and PayPal are just unreachable. I cannot provide something I don't have. I did everything that PayPal asked me to do. It seems that PayPal isn't even there..
