Hi, I need help. I am LIVID at PayPal right now. I had a deposit put into my account on 6/21/20, it cleared on that date. I purchased some items for a class I am taking on Sunday through Amazon and all was fine both Sunday and yesterday. Today, however, there's a hold on the money. A friend of mine is who sent the money so that I could purchase something for her mother I saw on sale. She had her card lost that same day. She says she didn't put a hold on the money she sent me but I'm wondering if her back did it automatically. Now my account is in the negative and I don't have the money to put it back in the positive at this moment. Can they charge me a fee or anything like that if it does have something to do with my friend's bank? And if so, how can they just put your account negative when the money was there.
