Folks, I've been victim of a real pro, who provided a shipping date after PP contacted them about my dispute. They sent me a freaking pencil instead of the solar panels I ordered so my account says my purchase has been delivered. When I looked up the return address the website of a legitimate business said they don't send pencils and have contacted the post office. There is no phone or chat customer service at PayPal at this time, I've posted a message on the website and on FB. Since I believed the solar panels were on their way I let the return deadline pass on Amazon for the power station I was doing to charge, so I'm out more than the $100 for this purchase. As soon as this and another dispute I need to file are resolved I'm going back to using my VISA so US Bank will take care of me, except for a very few merchants (like the farmers I know who do my CSA) who only take PP. Sorry to rant so, but I am feeling violated and it bothers me that these creeps have my home address. PP has taken care of disputes in the past and I thought it was a safe way to shop online.
