@kernowlass it would appear that way. i tried to report the problem through the resolution centre but was told it was unable to do so due to a user agreement. im still waiting for a reply from the message centre regarding this matter. i managed to contact nike and one has been cancelled just got two more to go aha. i have since changed my password, removed all bank accounts connected to Paypal account and have cancelled the card. i have notified the bank but they are unable to do anything as it has gone through Paypal.
