Hello! I'm a bit new to PayPal and I need some guidance for something that seems really unclear to me. Here's the thing: I'm soon going to receive a $12 invoice that I want to accept, but I only want to pay $12, not more. That means I don't want to pay any PayPal fee. The thing is I live in France, so I use Euros. My PayPal balance is currently empty; I've read somewhere that if you decide to pay an invoice with your credit card, you will have to pay a fee; but if you're paying with your balance, no fee will be applied. So I was thinking I'd transfer $12 from my bank account to my PayPal balance, and here's my first problem: the money in my bank account is in Euros. I've tried to transfer money from my bank account to my PayPal balance and I've seen that I can only transfer Euros. Okay. So I google how many Euros would $12 be, turns out it's 11.10€. Let's imagine I did that transfer and I now have 11.10€ on my PayPal balance. They're still Euros, not USD. At this state, can I accept the $12 invoice? Or will PayPal tell me I need more money in my balance considering they'd need to make me pay more for a currency translation? And if so, how can I be sure of the exact amount of Euros I will need to complete the invoice before paying it? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I know I am going to find myself stuck in this situation again, now that I use PayPal. AF
