Don't do it. Wait for a paper check or open an account at a real bank. Lots of us here have been waiting for our direct deposits to be released since April 15th. Plus, by you being so new, PayPal will limit your account for up to 6 months. ... View more

I signed up for chime last week. My new card came in the mail within 3 days and I already turned in my direct deposit slip to my employer. PayPal is nothing like it was 15 years ago. People fighting to get refunds for items that were part of a scam or never arrived it's just heinous. Weekends do not count toward the 3-5 day "supposed" wait period. However, there are thousands of us with PayPal they're experiencing the same issue and ignorance in this matter. I have seen people who were slated for an April 15th deposit into their PayPal and have yet to receive any money.
