The seller tried refunding me, i have a video of him trying and as soon as he clicks sends an error pops up from insufficient funds, he dont have the funds because paypal never cleared the full 3100 dollars into his account. Luckily it was put on hold, now the resolution center says he has until the 16th to respond and itll be resolved by the 18th. I really hope so, i started this on the 27th of march and have been waiting for weeks for someone to respond. I feel like 3 weeks of waiting is an excessive amount to wait when funds are taken out right away. My resolution date also changed from the 12 to the 18th as well which was weird because the seller had until the 16th or 15th this whole time to respond to paypal. ... View more

Thanks for the response and thats the thing, i started the claim and it was escalated to paypal on the 27 of march. I assumed due to the virus and limited number of workers it ks taking a little longer to here from someone. The tracker on payal says he has until the 16th to respond as the claim is still filed under "waiting for response". But it also says the claim should be finalized by april 12th underneath that. Its just very confusing, i would of hoped that at least claims would be something we could talk to a live person on who is able to look at the case. Ive read comments on here where talking to someone has made the refund almost instant. ... View more

Literally in the same situation. Except the funds never made it to his actual paypal account. Because the account was new and the amount was 3100 dollars, paypal put a hold on the momey until i wrote a review or clicked that i recieved the item, which i wont because i didnt recieve anything. The seller tried issuing a refund but because the hold on the funds he got errors of insufficient funds from his paypal. I escalated to a claim and if all i have to is wait 7 days to get my money from paypal im am more than okay with that. Its been 3 days already the seller issued a refund and the app says waiting on sellers response. I hate that no one is working during this covi 19 that i cant call customer service. ... View more

That's what doesn't make sense, the money was put on hold due to the account being sort of new. Paypal was holding it in limbo until i out a review or the tracking number showed i recieved the package + a few days which of course neither happened. The seller has sent me screen recorded video of him going into the app and pressing refund and getting the inefficient funds error because the money is still in limbo. I filed the dispute and upgraded to a claim. Sent the seller a message explaining why i did it and the sooner he repsonded to paypal the sooner i could get my money and be done with it. From the screen shots he sent me its not giving him the option to just issue a refund, i escalated the claim 3 days ago and he showed where there is no option of refunding the money. It does show that his adjudication reason is "seller issued a full refund". If the transaction is supposed to be instant something went wrong because i haven't recieved notice or money. ... Okay, the seller sent me a screen shot of his paypal and it says. Adjudication reason: "you issued a full refund". Now this is on his page, which is what is confusing me because the paypal resolution center is telling me they are still waiting on a response. I guess when i saw that, than i thought i would of been updated of that status but i wasnt. I understand the hold thing, completely understandable. Seller issued refund but i didnt get any money

So i bought a couple items equalling 3100 dollars. Seller undersold me and after my funds cleared his account he tried issuing a refund. The funds are on hold on his newish account so every time he tries to issue a refund a warning of insufficient funds pops up. I filed the claim to expedite the process and its says that seller has issued a full refund but i have video of the refunds not going through. The claim process says they are waiting for a response, i have photos of the seller informing me that they sold the product to someone else, that they will issue a full refund. I just hope the claim goes well in my favor as i never recieved anything. Anyone have a similar refund issue? ... View more

I am having the same issue. Issued a dispute after the seller sold my purchased items to someone else. The funds are pending in the sellers account and they tried issuing a refund but paypal has a hold on the account and the funds arent technically there. So i am stuck waiting to find out when ill get my 3k dollars back. This process doesn't make sense at all. ... View more
