Good Day @megan678,   Is the payment showing on your pending balance? If so, it may have been sent as a payment for goods and services. This is usually held if you have limited payment history on your account or if PayPal sees higher than normal risk.  If that is the case, the sender of the payment can follow these steps to help you get the funds sooner.  Go to   Activity. Find and click the original payment for the item. Click   Confirm receipt. Click   Yes   to confirm that you received the order. *Please note that the sender of the payment has to do the confirmation, not you. Also, kindly advise them to do it on a desktop or mobile browser. It could be the internal security system being triggered due to recent limitations or unusual pattern payment history on your account. But it does not mean that your PayPal account is always the factor. It could also be the recipient's PayPal account that has limitations too. You may also consider checking the payment method that you are using. If your debit or credit card was declined, check to see if: Your card is expired or out of date, you need to confirm your card or your card company or bank has more information (this means you need to call your financial institution) Though you may also try changing your payment method (link another card or bank) or check your recipient’s email address or phone number is entered correctly.   Hope this helps. Hello @shackattack,   Hope you're doing good. When a seller on eBay got paid for an item sold on eBay, eBay may request that your payment be held temporarily. This means that the money won’t be available to use immediately, but is usually available within 21 days*. Before we place a payment on hold, we consider information provided by eBay and other data to evaluate the situation and possible risk. The payment on your seller's account may be on eBay hold because: They're a new seller on eBay; Their current performance has fallen below the   minimum standard for all eBay sellers; or The payment they received may be considered unusual for their selling pattern. This is a  common industry practice to help keep marketplaces, like eBay, safe for buyers and sellers. So if you have completed a payment on your end successfully, that means there is no issue on your account. PayPal would not ask you to give money to someone in exchange of being paid successfully.  We want to make sure of course if this is something legit from PayPal so you may also log in to your actual PayPal account and check your notification alert / message center if there is the same message.  To add to that, this is how you'll know that an email was not sent by PayPal if: The email opens with a generic greeting like "Dear user" or "Hello, PayPal member." We'll always address you by your first and last name or the business name on your PayPal account. The email requests financial and other personal information. The email contains an attachment, like a software update you can install on your computer. Well, if you made a payment by logging in to PayPal check out, you will first receive an email notification from PayPal and the transaction is on the activity page of your PayPal account. Just log in to your PayPal account and do the following steps. 1. Locate and click payment transaction in your PayPal account activity 2. Click "Report a problem" 3. Hello @Charbelle46,   Sorry to hear you had a problem with your purchase. PayPal protection is applicable to payments done through a personal PayPal account. You've mentioned that you are unable to see the transaction on your activity page? If that is so it seems like it was a payment made as a guest check out. But don't worry we can have this checked further. Please give us the details of the transaction by clicking Contact Us on the bottom part of your PayPal page. Our customer service representative will try to locate the transaction for you and see if we have a record of it. Hello @Suzy84b,  Hope you're doing well.  PayPal is country specific so if you move to a different country you have to create a new PayPal account in the country you are currently at. You can only add or change information like address, phone number and financials within the specific country where the PayPal account was created.  Since you are now in the US, you may open a new PayPal and add your US personal information. The Singaporean PayPal account maybe modified or changed successfully when you are in that country again. Deleting that account while you are outside Singapore may trigger and flag the security system as location is one of the factors to consider to keep your account secured.  Hope this helps. Could be a limitation placed on your account or you may need to go through a security check, so we can confirm your identity. Hi @Madmann99, Hope you are doing fine. You can add a bank account to one PayPal account at a time. The bank account can’t be linked to more than one account at a time. However, if approved, you may be able to add the bank to a second PayPal account. You will be informed when linking the bank to the second PayPal account if you have been approved.
