Hey bud! How many sales do you have, eBay will do this until you've shown a good selling history with your buyer(s) I had this same issue until I had some good amount of history of selling and having good record sales on my eBay. If you've sold minimal sales then that will be the reason and specially with the big amount of cash on the line, it's to stop people taking the money and running away and not sending the item. Once you've built up a strong history eBay will stop holding your money and will be available immediately in your PayPal balance. Nothing PayPal nor eBay can do I'm afraid, it's very annoying but note that the buyer can't take that money once you've sent the item and PayPal hold it on there end till buyer confirms and/or you upload tracking and it's approved. ... Report the email immediately to PayPal by phone and tell them what you've done. PayPal never ever ask for this information at all unless you're on their website and you've authorised for this information to be changed. What was their email?. To answer your question on it they got your details it all depends on wherever or not you was on a fake website wear they have a key logging tool on that site, my guess they do but not always. Very common and unfortunately so many people have fell for this sort of fraud. Their very good with creating fake emails from PayPal and to be brutally honest no one on any site should pay before hand unless on eBay and from a known seller with + feedback. If your wanting the money back I'd go to your bank and open a dispute with your bank. If someone used you're own details to make purchases your bank will refund the money back to you and follow up the case with fraud dispute team, if it comes back as you authorised the payments they will deduct it back off you! Contact your bank to see if they have any limits restrictions on using your card with PayPal. Also check that your using the correct details and address info when you enter card details. If the address don't link to the card it's self it won't go through for security reasons. Had same experience! ... View more

Hi Marjor! Ask them for a screenshot and transaction ID and contact PayPal for them to double check if the payment has gone through. Hey bud! If they don't have PayPal account and you sent it to a number what isn't connected to PayPal. Then your payment will bounce once the system recognises it's not linked. Contact PayPal for more assistance, but in the mean time check to see if it's pending, if so it will bounce back to your bank/PayPal balance! ... View more
