HI JUST A WORD REGARDING TRANSFERRING MONEY TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. RUBBISH THE BANKS WILL PROCESS THE FUNDS AS SOON AS PAYPAL SEND THEM PAYPAL ARE HOLDING FUNDS FOR 24/48/72 HOURS BEFORE RELEASING THEM THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS WHEN YOU HOVER OVER THE PENDING BUTTON A FEW HOURS BEFORE YOU GET TO 24/48/72 HOURS, IF YOU ARE LUCKY, YOU GET AN EMAIL SAYING THE FUNDS HAVE BEEN RELEASED TO BE PROCESSED. AT THIS POINT THE FUNDS APPEAR ALMOST INSTANTLY IN THE BANK ACCOUNT. FUNNY ISN'T IT? e it this is to your bank account? In simple terms, no. Read the withdraw funds experiment post Basically the 'pending' is a system hold at their discretion. I spoke to Robert today at PayPal, he told me that if I withdraw in a few days he can guarentee I wont have a hold after having 5 or so 24/72hr pholds in 3 days If you hover on pending it says Your withdrawal request is awaiting release for final processing, pending review by PayPal. Basically the system holds it, pending review - but the email you are sent when you ask to withdraw will say that if you are subject to review it will take longer than the time stated. It is appaling but it all adds up to a lot of interest in their bank account by holding everybodys funds. Sorry cant be more help, I will keep updating my topics on this as I am not happy if it continues. It is my money that they hold for me as a financial institution, after all, Would we put up with a cash machine saying it has taken the money out of your account so you cant spend it but you cant have it yet - come back in 72 hours and I will dispense it to you. I do not believe they comply with their own t and c's or the financial services legal agreements they are bound by. So, tell me, what does a security check involve? Making sure that no disputes have been filed? that funds not come from western union or dodgy accounts? maybe just to check that the user activated the withdrawl? Well I could do that at a pc in few min, In fact a decent pc program could do that, banks use them and dont give me this problem when I have had money put in. I have never, that I can remember stood at a cash machine for 72 hours waiting for the cash to come out. So, Why then would I have a 72 hour security check for 1p? Which was put in less than a min ago from the a/c I am withdrawing to? Why then, when I did the same 2 min later, would I have another random check put upon me for 72 hours I gave up then as obviously it is standard and it is random, or lucky if you get through. As the email that is senty out to confirm you making withdrawl says, it will take 24/48/72/365 hours but MAY TAKE LONGER IFSUBJECT TO REVIEW BY PAYPAL EXPLAIN THAT. So 72 is standard, any longer then you are being subject to review....Thats what the email says every time I withdraw funds. Kernowperson - How many times are you subject to longer than 2 hours as a paypal rep? Just out of interest As a percentage or so many times out of so many times that you withdrawn in the last say 6 months?

You got it in one my friend, read that email that comes through once you withdraw.
