Re: USING PAYPAL TO PAY THE BANK ACCOUNT

I'm not sure how to address this... First I certainly hope you run a reputable business that depends on honest dealings to survive because I'm not so sure if I'd even want to ask a client to do this. They may not fully understand the implications but they may also not take it in a very good light if they do.  Doing what you suggest would not only give you the power to deposit but also to withdraw money from your client's account, basically to do what you ask would give you full access to their account. Unless it's with a very close and understanding family member I might suggest finding an alternate method of transferring money.   ... View more

No, that seller lied to you, at this point you may be able to leave appropriate feedback.   In the future here is how it works: - After you open a return the seller must first ACCEPT the return, you will know the seller has done this once ebay allows you to print a return label right from within the returns system itself, the option will appear. - With most international and even some domestic sellers either can not or will not ACCEPT the return.  If such is the case you will likely have to call ebay and ask them for assistance, with domestic sellers ebay will first ACCEPT the case for the seller which in turn opens the "print return label" option from within the returns page itself... If a domestic seller failed to accept the case it is also possible you will need to call ebay again after the item's tracking shows delivery (in some cases the seller will "refuse" the delivery but fortunately on ebay that backfires on the seller, oddly enough the item is then on its way back to you) and then ebay's customer service can force the refund.  With an international sale ebay's CS can not force the seller to ACCEPT the case however if the seller never accepts and you can not print the label then after some time ebay can escalate the case and force-issue the refund to you.  - Either way if you experience trouble with a return (and this is so unfortunate) you should always consult either these boards, the ebay boards, or ebay's customer service.  To some degree sellers will be helpful but you never can be sure which one is trying to help you or not so again unfortunately it is best not to trust the sellers, my advice to you is familiarize yourself with the returns process.   Hope that made sense.     ... @agarayev wrote: Hi,   The issue is that I've been charged by freelancer.com because of fake project and after I opened PayPal dispute for refund of money deposited from my account, the website support contacted me, and showed their cooperation for resolution. After some discussion, now they claim that they will do full refund only after I cancel my PayPal dispute. I've contacted with PayPal support and they said "From researching your account history, I can see that your claim has been resolved in your favor and a full refund has been issued to you." However, I still haven't get an email for refund, and of course money hasn't returned back to my account.   Can the seller avoid refunding after I close dispute here (even if they told me they would make full refund after cancellation of my dispute claim).   Please help me, I appreciate it, Anar Yes, the seller can most certainly avoid refunding after you close the dispute here, do NOT do this. I would call Paypal again and calmly, slowly explain to them this: You have open case with freelancer.com and would like to inquire about the refund.   Do NOT get confooselated or frustrated or start talking fast with them. Stay calm, speak nice and slow. Keep it short. If they ask you a yes/no question, answer it yes or no. Do not make long stories.  Stay calm, speak nice and slow.      ... View more

I mean to tell you in most cases partial refunds don't work. Once the buyer tastes blood they will want the rest, the end you're going to give a full refund anyhow, why waste the time and effort...   ... View more

@sumiko wrote: Paypal has problems, some cc payments do not show up in PAYPAL history but it shows up on the cc statement,so your buyer may have seen duplicate payments in his account but not yours,or sometimes they dont understand how Paypal works.    Yes, that is correct insofar as my own analogy, I think we agree. The scary part is Paypal holding my funds and making me provide supporting documentation when it is in fact their problem, but I appreciate your input. ... View more

They require as always 'supporting documentation' meaning it's up to me to fabricate a good reply... They're not usually specific as to what they require.   Here's what I said:   Date of submission Jan 31, 2017 Note This order pertains to ebay transaction #xxx for one each 'Title of Item' for $9.20 plus .49 cents Virginia sales tax for a grand total of $9.69 which the buyer paid via Paypal on 1/10/2017. There were no further charges, the buyer was billed once, the buyer paid once, the order was shipped on 1/11/2017 and the buyer received the merchandise as per the original agreement. Please release my funds, thank you   I sure hope that's good enough, what a bunch of BS.   ... View more

@DPCreations wrote: So, it wasn't a PayPal dispute, but a claim made by the buyer; that's different.  You comments are NOT relevant as it is a PayPal issue, not yours. PayPal obligated to investigate and also obligated to put the money on hold until resolved. There is nothing for to do as it isn't as dispute against the seller. No? Then why are they holding my money and why was I required to enter a reply?!   Man I am steamed up about this, it's good it's a small amount... What if it's like, $500 and the next buyer does it to you, they just claim they got charged twice and blam... I sure hope Paypal gets it right.   Fact is a buyer shouldn't even be able to open a case for a non-existent reason.     ... View more

Buyer placed an order, paid once, the order was shipped and they have the merchandise. Sometime later this buyer opens a dispute based on their claim that it is a duplicate payment. They did not pay twice, they were not billed twice...   But what really gets me is, paypal records clearly show the buyer only paid once! Why is the buyer even allowed to open such a case? And why are my funds being held!   ... View more

That's all fine and dandy, the reason I am here is because I am holding 20x FAKE 256GB flash drives that I already knew not to send back because to do so is against International shipping laws as the items need to be held as evidence, however DHGATE simply deny paypal dispute then play back-and-forth with the politeness playing dumb at times and feigning sincere intertest at others until all time limits have expired, once they are to that point they release payment and either way they steal our money and I'm out nearly $300! ...
