Hello Everyone, I am disgusted with Ebay and Paypal interchangeably and would like to know if anyone of you is currently or have done selling through Amazon and if it is worth it or better than Ebay. I listed a couple of items on Amazon and paid close attention to the "commission" that Amazon would make when and if the item sold. According to seller fee schedule, they take 15% of the listing price and a "variable closing fee" of $1.35 (for a book). They do not charge you for receiving payment like Paypal does because the money after they take out their listing fees is deposited into your bank account. All in all, it sounds like more than Ebay and Paypal would take out total, with listing fee, final value fee, and Paypal fee. The problem with payment is its "buyer's protection" that often lets crooked buyers enter false claims and end up getting a refund from a seller even if the item is received but they claim non-receipt. As a buyer, I have never had a bad experience in Amazon, buying from sellers. My questions is if the decrease in profit (due to its higher fees) is worth not having to deal with Paypal and if anyone that has experience selling in Amazon can enlighten me in terms of their dispute resolution process. I know that Ebay and Paypal **bleep** in terms of resolving a dispute but how does Amazon resolve disputes, is it fair, is it worth paying more or what is your opinion overall?
