Just had to comment on that last post, if belatedly. I ship hundreds of flat rate International Priority envelopes every year with contents worth $30 - 90. Never insure, and have maybe one or two supposedly lost a year, usually to very sketchy locations. So well worth it to "self insure", especially as it saves me the pain of jumping through hoops to collect.   I sent some flat rates out last week without customs signature. They were returned after going a considerable distance to judge by condition. Took them back to the PO, and they let me sign them and resent for no extra charge. Said it was their job to check for the signature when they accepted them.   They also thought there was some way to set the preferences so the labels would be automatically signed, but I can't find it. ... What I really wish they would do is offer an option to print an  invoice or packing slip on the other half of the paper. They one could get both printed without any switching of paper or printing preferences, or tedious scrolling though one page after another. I daresay it would cut processing time in half, no small savings.   I guess some people like the little mini-receipt, but we sure don't need the instructions printed and reprinted 50 times a day. ... This would be funny if it wasn't so stupid, but after obediently switching to plain paper to print my international shipping label, the directions that it printed with the label recommended using self-adhesive labels!   I think Paypal is the sloppiest company I have ever dealt with, when it comes to such inconsistencies.  ... It may be a printer issue and not software. My $500 postcript laser won't print worth a **bleep** from javascript and browsers, but a $39  inkjet does just fine.  I have to keep to keep the inkjet on hand just for printing Paypal forms and airline reservations.  ... View more

Amen! As a new comer to PayPal merchant services, I am quite taken aback by how much time it takes to print out packing slips and now many clicks are required for each order processed. The inability to bulk print shipping slips with the Multi-order function makes a joke of it.   What I would really like to see, if I can dream, is the ability to print both a shipping label and a packing slip on one half-sticker half plain paper label in the Multi-Order or single order mode.   My last fulfullment system allowed this - it was real time saver, meant no **bleep**ing with label printers or multiple printers, switching paper or constantly changing settings.    As a newcomer it is very frustrating to deal with Paypal. Some functions are so well done and thought out, and others wretched. You have  feeling that if a serious business user could spend about half an hour with the people actually designing the site the system could be totally transformed.  ... View more
