Hi all,
This has for sure been asked in many variants.
I'm in the US.
In a typical private sale such as a FB marketplace good, can I as the buyer use my PayPal credit to pay the seller, who may not have a PayPal business account? He is at least an individual with an email and may or may not have a PayPal registered business account as I do.
Is it having a PayPal registered business account (even if it's really an individual behind that) that allows one to accept PayPal credit payments, and therefore the other party (buyer) to send payments that route?
For example, I bought bicycle wheels last fall from an individual on Craigslist. He directed me to PayPal and his business name, as he also advertised on Ebay. I was able to make a $200 payment and enjoy the benefits of 6months 0% on PayPal credit.
Thank you,
BK
