Why should I have to contact Paypal (they do not have 24/7 phone coverage) to set up a US currency credit card on my Canadian Paypal account? When registering a credit card there should be an option to indicate which currency the credit card uses. This seems like an obvious missing option (or perhaps done deliberately to get the conversion fees) and has resulted in my US credit card charge to be converted twice and thus incurring conversion fees twice. I will not use Paypal again to purchase anything in US currency untill this deficiency in the system is corrected.
