If I am only selling, do i need a debit/credit card for the paypal?

I want to set up pay pal but I don't want to put in a debit or credit card.  I only want to sell items. But I would like to get paid through pay pal.

If you're planning to sell on ebay, you'll need both and you'll need a credit card inputted on ebay - it's required.

You do not need to have a credit card, a debit card or a bank account linked to your PayPal account in order to receive payments, however... without having such linkage, you will not be able to do anything with the received funds.

You will not be able to send payments or withdraw funds unless you have a credit card, a debit card or a bank account linked to your PayPal account.

Are you sure? According to the eBay "Creating a Seller's Account" page, if the seller doesn't have a credit card or checking account, or if the seller doesn't want to provide credit card or checking account information, the seller can verify their identity by using ID Verify.
