HORRIBLE IDEA TO HOLD FUNDS FOR 21 DAYS!!!

  Holding funds from sellers until the buyer leaves feedback is the worst idea EVER! Since when does Paypal become an authority on buyer satisfaction?? A smooth transaction is all that I wanted from Paypal. If they are going to hold funds, then they should make it very clear BEFORE you use them!  Keeping my money in their account for 21 days is a HUGE disadvantage of using Paypal. Stick to transferring funds,not trying to be a satisfaction authority!

I just went to the ABC news site that everyone is talking about here and even though I couldn't send an email, I was able to post a comment on the site, after registering!!! It took my story and posted it live on the site so EVERYONE should do the same! If they hear this from enough people, I feel sure they WILL pick up on the story! It can't hurt.....and we need all the help we can get at this point. It may not get our money back but it may cause the same kind of harm to Ebay/Paypal's business that they have caused to us! By the way......Ebay and Paypal are owned by the SAME COMPANY!! They are not separate entities!!

Please keep us posted if you do...I know they deleted a post I put on here the other day...I had two auctions with no sales today..the 21 day hold is killing everyone..I sell then  buy from the money i used to get on that day but no more..Something has to be done!!!

Hey people check this out. Since everyone's talking about a lawsuit, many, many pages ago (like some 400 pages ago), there was already a class action suit developed with its own special website. It's www.letssuepaypal.com. Right before I wrote this post I went to that site and it's still active! In fact it was just updated. I never messed with it because I felt my case really wasn't that tremendous. But click on the link and chexk it out.

Papal is holding my money (going on 19 days today), when I am over 6 years with them and have 100% positive feedback on eBay. I always ship promptly (and most times offer free expedited shipping to my customers). I
always provide tracking info on eBay and papal. So, what is up with them telling me all payments are on a 21 day hold?! I spoke to a rep (two weeks ago) that told me my money would be released after three days..And, still waiting.
I'm the smuck that I quickly send out my valuable goods while the buyer enjoys it, and while Papal enjoys MY MONEY (and, I am almost certain they are collecting interest on the collective sum of money that they place a hold on). What
accountability does Papal have? Our own banks do not hold money this long! It bothers me that I pay a vendor when they cannot pay me under standard terms.

i started selling two weeks ago ive already sold 99.00 and mine still isnt able to be withdrawn to my bank account yet ive called and emailed and they got there ercentage already but i havent seen any of mine im about to close the account and forget paypal.
