HORRIBLE IDEA TO HOLD FUNDS FOR 21 DAYS!!!

Holding funds from sellers until the buyer leaves feedback is the worst idea EVER! Since when does Paypal become an authority on buyer satisfaction?? A smooth transaction is all that I wanted from Paypal. If they are going to hold funds, then they should make it very clear BEFORE you use them! Keeping my money in their account for 21 days is a HUGE disadvantage of using Paypal. Stick to transferring funds, not trying to be a satisfaction authority!

Not only do they hold your funds, they give lists of actions you can take to release those funds. But forget that, even if you do comply with their requirements, they ignore your emails and still wont release those funds. Is there any hope that you will get those funds after 21 days? Paypal has a banner on their opening page that reads "Find out how how you may get your money sooner.' but ignore that because clicking on it will get you NOWHERE. Paypal **bleep**.

Yes, I moved all my items to www.bonanza.com in one import straight from eBay. There are not listing fees and you pay a small fee whenever you sell something. There is no payment system in place so unfortunately I am having to us PayPal if for no other reason but to get my booth started. There is no much traffic on the site but I think it is catching on. In the past month at least one of my items has been featured in their weekly sales campaign and it has brought viewers to my booth.
I only sell on eBay when they have a special with no listing fee or I get my first 100 listing a month for free. So I list new items on eBay at the beginning of the month and before the auctions end I transfer what is left over to Bonanza. No more double listings. It will even remove items that have been sold. Oh its still a little clumsy too but not as much as what you have to deal with feebay. A seller can offer freebies to there customers with purchase. You just list the freebie and poof old inventory disappears and you have a happy returning customer.
So sorry feebay but I got tired of paying through the nose to sell a $6.95 item making pennies for all the detailed work, shipping, and fees to you and to PayPal. You are not the sheeznit anymore. What a way to kill a company? But I bet all that interest PayPal is earning on held funds makes up in salary increases and bonuses to the big guys and they dont care just as long as they get as much as they can out of the company before it folds like Enron or Blockbuster.

AMEN! The interest is killing me. Will have to get this paid off and hopefully find another way to pay. I am losing serious money.

I was depending on some eBay sales to help me pay for an item I bought on ebay. But **bleep** no. Paypal won't let me have it, and I'm in jeopardy of getting a "no pay" strike on my account, and I may even lose the item I bid on. **bleep** YOU PAYPAL!

Very, very good! I don't think PayPal pulls all that mess as they do with eBay. There's also Blujay.com, ioffer.com, Ebid, many others.

I have bought and sold around $10,000 in the last 30 days. I have never had negative feedback as a seller, I have never had a case opened against me, I have shipped every item sold within 24 hours, I have provided a tracking number for every item I have sold within the U.S. and my account has a 21 day hold on it?
I think it may be time to go back to accepting credit/debit cards and **bleep** PayPal.
