Ebay bidder wants to send purchase to different address.

Ebay bidder from Mexico would like to pay through Paypal for high ticket item and have it shipped to a  United States address. Says his address is not confirmed. Is this a safe transaction or a scam ?

Welcome to the Community Forums!

I'm really glad that you stopped in for some additional information!

When you receive a transaction, it will say in the details if it is eligible for PayPal's Seller Protection policy.   It will also provide a shipping address to send the item to. 

I would not recommend sending an item to a different address then the one listed in the details, as it would not be covered under our Seller Protection. 

And, what is this Seller Protection Policy I keep referring to?   Let me tell you! 

Our Seller Protection Policy protects you in the event of an unauthorized purchase, an "item not received" claim, a chargeback, or a reversal.
