New to paypal.
Want to buy item but don't have enough on any single one credit/debit card--can I use 2 diff. cards plus a debit to pay for an item? E.g, item is $1200. Can I designate 700 from one card, 300, from another, and 200 from another to pay for the purchase?
Thanks

Welcome to the boards!
At this time, payments cannot be split between funding sources. In essence, the entire charge has to come from a single card or bank (although that amount can be reduced by your available PayPal balance). If you have a bank account on file, you might consider adding funds so that the remainder can be covered by one card. I would urge against sending separate payments, however, as this voids any Purchase Protection you may have through PayPal.
Hope this helps,
Adrian
